Please see http://janzeiger.com/portfolio.html if you're looking for information about what to bring to the evaluation.   I'm using an automated system for booking appointments, but you're always welcome to email me at mrszeiger @ gmail.com with your questions.

If you are new to homeschooling or just need assistance, you are welcome to book this appointment for a consultation.  If you can't find an appointment time that works for you, please email me for more options. I look forward to meeting you! :)

Need more than one evaluation?  Just book one appointment, but be sure to include the number of evaluations in the comment box when you register.  One evaluation is $40.  Additional evaluations are $20.  I can usually fit two evals into one session because I leave a half hour in between all appointments.

Need details about the process?  Go back to www.janzeiger.com.  Thanks!

Payment Options:  Paypal is preferred, but you are welcome to  pay on the day of  the appointment using cash. Just choose the "pay at the door" option when you register.

REMEMBER THAT THE PORTFOLIO EVALUATION IS NOT A TEST!

Jan Zeiger, Homeschool Consultant & Evaluator

Jan completed her BA and Master's degrees in Elementary Education at the University of Florida and taught for 6 years in Seminole County (in both public and private school). She is available to help families who are just starting out as well as more experienced families who need yearly evaluations.

Jan recommends a balanced approach to homeschooling that provides opportunities for hands-on and "delight-driven" learning. The homeschooling mother of two encourages parents to keep long-term goals for their children in mind when making educational decisions. These goals might include a great sense of self, a lifelong love for learning, and a strong academic foundation.

Jan has worked with more than 100 families in the area and has written articles about homeschooling for local and national publications. In addition to homeschooling her own children, she is currently studying Educational Leadership at UCF.
